Job Summary

Join our premiere cardiac center in Morristown, NJ, where we prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction. You'll perform ultrasound procedures, relieve patients of pre-testing anxiety, and monitor them during the entire process. This role involves setting up equipment, reviewing prior reports and images, and maintaining records of exams performed. You will also be responsible for inventory control and supply purchases for your area.

Duties

• Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
• Perform ultrasound procedures and monitor patients throughout.
• Ensure proper images are obtained and studies are thorough.
• Maintain records and logs of exams performed.
• Manage inventory and supply purchases.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experienced in performing high-quality Adult Echo studies as per ASE & IAC Guidelines.
• Minimum of 200 documented inpatient echocardiography cases.
• Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
• Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
• Ability to work independently and respond to critical findings quickly.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with TEE and Stress Echo.
• Familiarity with 3D echo imaging.
• Experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols.
• Maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards.
• Experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems.
• Familiarity with Epic hospital information system.

Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM. Candidates must have TAVR TTE experience scanning pre-TAVR treatment patients with critical Aortic stenosis. Only experienced candidates with a background in a valve center/structural heart facility will be considered.
