Location: US:WI:MANITOWOC at our FROEDTERT HOLY FAMILY MEM HOSP facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.00

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Weeknight On-Call Coverage: Typically, one night per week.

Holidays: On-Call Coverage: Typically one or two per year.

Weekends: On-Call Coverage: 5:00 pm Friday until 7:00 am Monday, typically every fourth weekend.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10k!

Job Summary:

This position is triple-modality (Echo, Vascular, Ultrasound)

Position requires knowledge and performance of Imaging techniques for all areas: Ultrasound (i.e. OB/Gyn, Abdominal, Small Parts, Breast, Invasive, and Intraoperative Procedures). Vascular (i.e. Carotid Flow studies, Abdominal and Peripheral Vascular Exams). Echocardiography (i.e. TTE, contrast studies, TEE, Stress Echo). Assists with providing 24/7 coverage of all services with rotating call coverage. Provides guidance and instruction for sonography students.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Graduate or minimum of one year of current clinical US experience along with completion of all required registries RDMS (AB, OB/GYN, BR), RVT, and RDCS or RCS.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Graduate in a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for Diagnostic Medical Sonography/Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography/Vascular Technology. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound/Sonography is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry will be accepted.

Must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment.

Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Sonographers will be required to be registered in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), Breast (BR), Vascular (RVT) and Adult Cardiac (RDCS or RCS).

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life support for the Healthcare provider (BLS) or an American Heart Association (AHA) approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
