- Unit: Echocardiography -Certs Required: BLS, RDCS - How many scanners/rooms does this dept have? 7 ECHO machines - Will they have to float/cover any other areas? They will perform ECHO's in all areas of the hospital. - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties All cardiac studies for adults. - Experience or 'Must have' skills Must have at least 2 full years of experience - Average # of studies per day 8-10 scans per day 10hr shifts - EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use MERGE & Cerner - Department Specific Equipment Philips iE33 and Epic - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech? Manager and lead tech in the dept - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No - Radiologist in-house? Yes - Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 10hr shifts only - Weekend Requirements Every other weekend as needed - Holiday Requirements No - Call or Standby requirement? Response time?
