Ultrasound Technologist – Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Schedule: 3x12 Nights — Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Compact state license must be in hand at submission
• Certifications: BLS, ARDMS
• Charting system: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasounds including abdominal, pelvic, renal, and thyroid examinations.
• Conduct OB/GYN ultrasounds covering fetal anatomical surveys and 1st–3rd trimester scanning.
• Execute imaging for breast, testicular/scrotal, vascular, and abdominal organ studies.
• Provide pediatric/NICU imaging and portable/ED studies as needed.
• Assist with image-guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and amniocentesis when necessary.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be willing to work 3 of these 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
• Orientation required: 40 hours.
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal can result in termination and/or loss of guaranteed hours.
• Additional pre-start modules (approximately 16 hours) required.
