Your future role at a glance:

Location:  Indianapolis, IN

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Set up, calibrate, and skillfully maneuver transducers to perform routine and complex diagnostic studies, accurately identifying significant anatomy, pathology, and artifacts.

  • Implement strict clinical safety standards and quality control procedures, routinely auditing equipment functionality and executing lock-out/tag-out protocols for malfunctions.

  • Ensure 100% accuracy and prompt submission of high-quality images and patient histories to PACS, strictly verifying lead markers and data integrity.

  • Partner closely with physicians and radiologists to assist in a variety of complex imaging and interventional procedures, adapting to dynamic clinical needs.

  • Maintain full compliance with healthcare regulatory agencies while managing the cleanliness, sterilization, and organization of procedure rooms and storage areas.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiac Sonographer specializing in Fetal Echocardiography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Medical Sonographer specializing in Fetal Echocardiography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.
