Sonography Tech - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Department: PBP Maternal Medicine

Schedule: Day shift | Part time | 20 hrs Wednesday - Friday

Salary range: $43.74 - $60.97 per hour 

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to examine tissue and body structures, ensuring high-quality images for clinical interpretation.
• Manage equipment setup, perform routine and complex studies, and maintain procedure rooms while promptly submitting accurate images and patient data to PACS.
• Implement rigorous safety standards, perform quality control procedures, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot malfunctions, manage lock/tag-out procedures when necessary, and maintain a clean, organized department environment.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required: 
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

 

What additional requirements you'll need:

• Fetal Monitor Certification
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Experience strongly preferred.
