To strengthen the recruitment and retention of AmeriCorps EXL members, the Recruitment Leader will expand the program's capacity to effectively recruit, engage, and retain high-quality members across Sonoma County school sites. Serving alongside the AmeriCorps leadership team, the Leader will: Expand Community Outreach: Build community awareness and strengthen partnerships with local organizations and partner agencies. Enhance Digital Presence: Drive social media engagement through active posting and collaborative marketing coordination. Promote National Service: Highlight the transformational impact of the AmeriCorps EXL program. Key responsibilities include identifying and implementing innovative recruitment strategies, planning targeted recruitment events, and supporting member retention efforts. Member Duties : All activities will raise awareness of national service while strengthening member recruitment and retention. Key responsibilities include: Strategy & Tracking: Support recruitment action plans, develop marketing materials, and track outreach data. Outreach & Events: Expand community presence through career fairs, college outreach, presentations, and events. Partnerships: Build relationships with regional programs and partner agencies to connect individuals to service. Digital Presence: Drive social media engagement through active content creation and partner coordination. Alumni Engagement: Implement strategies to keep AmeriCorps alumni engaged in promoting National Service. Program Alignment: Maintain updated knowledge of program timelines, processes, and recruitment needs. Team Participation: Attend weekly check-ins, planning meetings, required trainings, and statewide events.
