Sorter Position
Location: Carol Stream, IL 60188
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm
A metal manufacturing company in Carol Stream is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sorter to join their 1st shift team. This position is responsible for sorting metal materials, inspecting parts for quality, organizing products, and maintaining a clean work area in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate metal parts and materials
- Inspect products for defects or damage
- Organize and prepare materials for production or shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and production standards
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
