Job Title: Sorter Job Description: The Recycling Sorter is responsible for sorting and separating recyclable materials—such as plastics, paper, glass, and metals—on a conveyor belt or sorting line. Sorters ensure materials are placed into the correct bins or containers for further processing, helping maintain the quality and efficiency of recycling operations. The role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and following safety and cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and sort recyclable materials by type and quality. Remove contaminants and non-recyclable items from sorting lines. Operate and maintain sorting equipment safely. Keep work area clean and organized. Follow company safety procedures and report any hazards or equipment issues. Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Prior experience in recycling or waste management is an asset but not required. #GL123
