Role and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the _Production Supervisor, the Sorter is a key role in verifying and ensuring packaged orders are palletized to the assigned pick-up carriers. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the everyday standards of the ID Logistics client.
Schedule: AWW Mon-Thur/12:30pm-11:00pm (4/10-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $17.94 per hour
Status: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Responsible for sorting orders on different pallets depending on the carrier and the route.
- Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
- Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to supervisor.
- Following proper Standard Operating Procedures and applicable FDA guidelines.
- Attention to detail and able to multitask.
- Quality checks all pallets or box orders.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Other Job functions or cross training may apply.
