We are currently seeking reliable candidates with manufacturing or industrial experience to support machinery operation, sorting, and movement of materials at a specialty recycling facility in Akron, Ohio. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are comfortable performing physical tasks.

Hours
1st Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Overtime available on Saturdays

Pay
$15.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate large processing, crushing, and sorting machines
• Sort materials ranging from large to small parts into designated categories
• Route materials for transport to the appropriate area for processing
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating industrial machines
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/moving
• Ability to wear a respirator at times
• Must be willing to work in a dusty/dirty environment
• Steel-toed shoes/boots required, all other PPE provided
• Forklift experience a plus

Nice to Have Skills

• Forklift operation experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings

Other Requirements

• On-site work environment only
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
• Ability to work in dusty/dirty conditions
