Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill two 2 part-time a maximum of 24 hours per week Festival Program Coordinator for the School of VPDA at Oregon State University OSU. We are seeking independent and organized college students to take on the role of Festival Program Coordinator and assistant technical coordinator for Soundbox 9 this may be a shared role. This unique opportunity involves helping to manage the entire festival program while working with faculty encompassing tasks from inception to completion. The positions require effective multitasking skills adept communication with artists and presenters writing and editing troubleshooting setting up concert production issues and utilizing various tools such as YouTube text setting programs and setting up and building a Google Site for Soundbox 9. We may also be using live video chat and socials for shared performances with folks online and out of town.

Position Duties Assist Building Festival Program Take charge of planning and organizing the festival program ensuring a smooth flow of events while working with OSU Faculty staff and volunteers.
BUILD Google Sites Utilize Google Sites to build a web-based program making information easily accessible to all stakeholders. Create QR codes etc.
Communication Management Handle extensive communication with artists and presenters addressing their queries and ensuring all necessary information is collected.
Biographical Materials Organize and manage biographical materials for artists and presenters.
VideoAudio Organization Uploads Upload videos audio content to YouTube for programming
Text Set Program Contribute to the creation of a well-structured and visually appealing program using text-setting tools and images and links to media.

Must be academically enrolled in a high school community college or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard.
High School student Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program.
Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student 6 credit hours per term.
Undergraduate international student 12 credit hours per term.
Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School 5 credit hours per term.
Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School 9 credit hours per term.
International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered full-time by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services USCIS. A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services OIS and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

There is a strong preference for candidates who are genuinely interested in working in the entertainment industries and who bring a mix of operational and organizational abilities business and spreadsheet skills marketing experience strong writing and editing capabilities social media expertise Adobe Creative Suite proficiency and entrepreneurial skills supported by arts-based training. We understand that candidates may only have a couple of these skills. Our hope is to hire at least 2 people to split duties.
