    Description

    Position Summary

    The Supervisor, Source and Reuse is responsible for the day to day produced water treatment operations and operators. This individual promotes healthy, safe, and environmental practices and ensures each facility is operating at maximum efficiency in compliance with regulatory requirements. The supervisor provides support for service regarding water reuse/ sourcing operations for our Permian Basin assets. Salary commensurate with experience. This position is located in Wink, Texas and reports to the VP Operations.

    Essential Job Duties

    • Coordinates planning and scheduling of maintenance projects and other instrumentation and/or equipment calibrations.

    • Analyzes operating data for optimization of asset management and operating costs.

    • Oversees the purchase and delivery of water treatment chemicals and maintains appropriate inventory on operating sites to support continuous operations.

    • Provides training, troubleshooting, and operations support at treatment facilities.

    • Provides input on new treatment projects and oversight during commissioning/startup activities.

    • Supervises the daily operations and maintenance of multiple produced water treatment facilities.

    • Adheres to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures.

    • Identifies, investigates, and proposes facility upgrades, repairs, and improvements.

    • Oversees implementation of approved items to ensure timely and budgetary completion.

    • Responds proactively and immediately to facility operational deficiencies and reports any safety, environmental, operations, and financial issues to the appropriate authority immediately.

    • Serves as the primary point of contact for and communicates effectively and professionally with site operators, contractors, coworkers, and company leaders regarding the operations and performance of assigned produced water treatment facilities.

    • Maintains commitment to the organization, willingness to take initiative, dependability, maturity in relationships with others and self-confidence.

    • Collaborated with Procurement with their processes for POs and purchase requests.

    • Drives procurement process

    • Ensures operators have appropriate training and certifications for the sites they are assigned.

    • Collaborates with staff, contractors and consultants on training and utilizing all Reuse SOP’s.

    • Participates in daily communication with site operations and team members inclusive of utilizing company approved chat functions.

    • Adheres and leads by example on Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.

    • Responsible for approving timesheets timely and accurately.

    • Participates in hiring, performance management, development and disciplinary processes.

    • Participates in other assigned duties and projects based on business needs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or comparable such as GED.

    • 3 years of experience in water reuse experience.

    • Strong knowledge of safety guidelines, regulations and best work practices regarding water treatment plan chemicals and equipment.

    • Able to troubleshoot process control problems and equipment malfunctions.

    • Able to use hand tools to make basic repairs and adjustments to pumps, motors and other equipment as needed.

    • Able to collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests.

    • Strong decision-making skills to identify and understand issues.

    • Exhibits the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

    • Effective communicator with customers, vendors, and company staff; represents self and company in positive manner.

    • Exhibit exemplary punctuality in accordance with PWS attendance policies.

    • Able to travel.

    • Must have a valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance provider throughout employment to be able to drive a Company vehicle.

     

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

    • Individual will be required to be on call at times to attend field emergencies as needed after hours.

    • Must be able to use their hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, and fine manipulation.

    • Must be able to drive and sit for extended periods of time.

    • Must be able to stand, bend, walk, kneel, climb stairs and lift over 50lbs for continuous hours.

    • May be exposed to loud noises, occupational hazards, and/or other outdoor elements

    • Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to, extreme hot, extreme cold, wind, rain, hail, dust, snow, sleet, ice, etc. as well as wet/humid and/or dry/arid conditions.

    • May be exposed to H2S and other industry related chemicals.

    • May be subject to working in low-lit areas

    • May encounter wildlife.
