Sourcing Analyst (Entry Level)

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst

Duration: 13-week contract

Exciting opening for an entry level/JR Sourcing Analyst! In this role you will be:

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing, terms, volume discounts, and long-term agreements with suppliers
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for technical equipment, components, and engineered products
• Manage supplier relationships and address delivery, quality, and performance issues
• Review purchase order claims and ensure compliance with company policies
• Resolve supplier defects, shortages, and delivery problems, including negotiating credits or refunds
• Maintain awareness of technology trends, cost drivers, and supplier roadmaps to support sourcing decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support procurement and supply chain initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Entry-level role; minimal prior experience required
• Ability to work independently and apply professional judgment in decision-making
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

This is a Contract position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.45 - $34.45/hr.
