Our client, one of the largest healthcare corporations, is seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Associate Director (IT) to join their team.

Location: On site in Eden Prairie, MN

Pay Rate: $58.00 to $61.00 per hour depending on experience

Employment Type: 5 month contract role with potential to be hired permanently!

Position Overview

The Sourcing and Procurement Associate Director (IT) will lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and contracting initiatives across enterprise IT software and services. This role focuses primarily on business process applications, including virtual care technology, care coordination platforms, financial software, and other indirect technology categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, procurement, and contracting initiatives for IT software and services.
  • Develop and execute category management strategies that drive value, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Manage complex RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Negotiate master service agreements, software agreements, statements of work, and other technology contracts.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver procurement solutions.
  • Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, spend analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
  • Present sourcing recommendations and procurement strategies to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracting standards, and risk management requirements.
  • Utilize procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools to support sourcing activities and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing category management strategies and leading complex strategic sourcing projects.
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating master agreements, statements of work, and technology contracts.
  • Experience managing the full sourcing and procurement lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
