Sourcing Manager

About the Opportunity
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a strategic Sourcing Manager to lead vendor sourcing initiatives across professional services and technology categories

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for professional services, consulting, and SaaS/technology solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market research, vendor evaluations, and competitive bidding processes (RFPs/RFQs).
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements with vendors.
  • Manage vendor relationships and facilitate ongoing governance meetings.
  • Monitor vendor performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and business leaders throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
  • Support risk management and vendor due diligence efforts.
  • Manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related functions.
  • Experience sourcing professional services, technology, or SaaS solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of vendor risk, compliance, and contract review processes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience sourcing healthcare services, consulting, or technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with supplier risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP.
