Job Description
Position Summary: The Sourcing Coordinator ensures vendor compliance and product data accuracy by:
- Identifying, submitting, and tracking chargebacks for vendor violations (late shipments, shortages, quality issues).
- Managing product data integrity in DEVEX system (specs, images, vendor details).
- Coordinating packaging copy workflows (translations, compliance docs).
- Delivering data-driven vendor performance insights.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain (retail/fashion/home goods preferred).
- Chargeback expertise policy enforcement, documentation, and vendor negotiations.
- Strong administrative skills with extreme attention to detail.
- DEVEX or PLM system experience (product data management).
- Hybrid flexibility 3 days/week in NYC office.
Core Responsibilities:
Chargeback Management (Primary Focus):
- Partner with Planning, Sourcing, and Quality teams to identify chargeback opportunities.
- Compile evidence (shipment records, QC reports) and submit cases for approval.
- Track chargeback status (pending/approved/paid) and communicate updates to vendors.
- Analyze trends to provide annual vendor performance reports.
Product Data & Packaging Support:
- Maintain accurate DEVEX system entries (product specs, vendor details, images).
- Coordinate packaging copy workflows (translations, compliance documentation).
- Ensure timely updates throughout the product development lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with warehouse (Zanesville), safety/quality, and sourcing teams.
- Support process improvements for chargeback efficiency and data accuracy.
