Sourcing Coordinator

Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Follow-up, expedite, de-expedite open orders to align with demand.
• Execute sample purchase orders and order acknowledgements managing dates appropriately.
• Work with Manager to identify the correct sources to quote components.
• Develop Request for Quotes and analyze responses when received from suppliers.
• Interact with suppliers and internal departments to answer questions on any open orders.
• Load pertinent information into ERP system based on source selection.
• Lead projects to improve internal processes and follow-up on issues.
• Run reports and analyze data to define areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Support Supply Chain team in projects to improve Delivery and Cost from the Supply Base.
• Invoice/price resolution.
• Issue PO’s on an as needed basis.
• Load PPAPs for new part qualification.

Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations.
• Minimum 1 year Sourcing/Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience quoting products with suppliers.
• Running reports and analyzing data.

• Proficient in the use of computer applications Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact and clearly communicate with other functional areas of the organization, management, and suppliers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers.
• Ability to be a self-starter and professionally react to different situations.
• Ability to identify a problem and willingness to drive a resolution.
