Location: York, PA
Salary / Pay Range: $112,000 annually plus bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client is seeking a Sourcing Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies across assigned commodities, balancing cost, risk, quality, and project schedules. This role will support complex, custom-engineered solutions while managing supply chain activities, supplier negotiations, project purchasing budgets, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supply chain activities for assigned projects from offer-to-order through order-to-completion
• Create, control, and execute project sourcing strategies to support project success and reduce risk
• Review customer specifications and provide procurement-related feedback as needed
• Perform market analysis and negotiate with suppliers on technical and commercial matters
• Coordinate purchasing activities with global material group management
• Review, control, forecast, and report project purchasing budgets and activity updates
• Purchase materials and services in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Provide support to internal customers on key project needs and requirements
• Build supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to improve quality and reduce costs
• Support special projects as assigned by supply chain leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or project management within a multinational corporation
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal teams and suppliers
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable solving problems
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Experience with SAP software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Technical knowledge of generator components

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the hydro industry
• Experience supporting custom-engineered or project-based manufacturing environments
• Background managing sourcing activity tied to project budgets, schedules, and customer specifications
