Move Forward with VoltVolt is immediately hiring a Sourcing Specialist in San Diego, CA.
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will Source new domestic and international suppliers for a variety of mechanical components and parts. Analyze pricing, supplier performance, and bids to narrow suppliers down to top 3 in a team environment, working across multiple departments. Negotiate costs and pricing. Continuously analyze supplier performance and build relations and source new suppliers.
These are full-time, one-year, temporary roles with potential to go temp to hire. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, plus overtime as needed, including Saturdays, requiring you work full-time onsite at the facility.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of purchasing experience, specifically sourcing and negotiating new suppliers, both domestically and internationally. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment are essential. Be able to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug test.
Pay Rate: $50.00 - $58.00 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
