Sourcing Specialist

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing organization in the Tampa, Florida area, for an entry-level Sourcing Specialist to join their talent acquisition team on a hybrid basis. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build hands-on sourcing and recruiting skills while working alongside experienced talent acquisition professionals on real hiring needs.

Day to day, you will spend your time researching talent pools, building candidate pipelines, and reaching out to prospective candidates across multiple channels. This role suits someone who is naturally curious, enjoys research and detective work, communicates confidently with strangers, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift quickly.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks
• Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates for current and future openings
• Conduct initial outreach and screening conversations to gauge candidate interest and fit
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and sourcing strategy
• Maintain accurate and up to date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
• Research and map talent pools within target industries and geographies
• Assist with drafting and posting job advertisements across relevant platforms
• Track sourcing metrics and provide regular pipeline updates to the recruiting team
• Attend virtual and in person networking events to build candidate relationships
• Support employer branding efforts to attract top talent

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable making outreach calls and messages to unfamiliar candidates
• Basic familiarity with LinkedIn, job boards, or applicant tracking systems a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines at once
• Eager to learn sourcing techniques and recruiting best practices
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work hybrid schedule in the Tampa, Florida area
