Job Summary and Qualifications
Responsible for overseeing the daily food production operations for Patient Food ServicePhysiciansDining RoomCafeteriaand Catering. Ensures that all food items are preparedservedand stored according to HACCP and regulatory agency standards. Maintainshigh standardsof qualitysafetyand sanitation. Effectively supervises staffassistsin the hiring counselingcoachingand development of staff. Appropriately documents all staff records i.e. annual evaluations disciplinary process etc. Assistswith menu development for cafeteriaphysiciansdining cateringeventsand patients.Assistswith coordination of large catered functions. Assumes accountability for promoting consistent positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service. Monitor employee attendance for timeliness accrual of incremental overtimeutilizingKRONOSon a daily basisper facility procedures.
What qualifications you will need
Associates Degree in Culinary Artsfrom an accredited programAssociates Degree or Technical Degree in related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years Professional Culinary Leadership experience in a high volume fine dining restaurant country clubhotelor healthcare organizationrequired Comprehensive knowledge of food & catering trends with focus on quality sanitation production & presentationrequired Food Service Managers Certification Required within90 daysof hire.
