The Role
We are hiring a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and help drive daily kitchen operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who:
- Leads by example on the line
- Holds the team accountable to standards
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Can step in and run the kitchen when needed
You will be expected to execute, enforce, and lead not just assist.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead daily kitchen operations across all stations
- Ensure consistency, speed, and quality on every service
- Supervise line, prep, pantry, and dish teams
- Train and develop BOH staff to meet performance standards
- Enforce cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and prep systems
- Help execute daily/weekly features with consistency and efficiency
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef s absence
What We re Looking For
- Experience as a Sous Chef or strong line cook ready to step up in a high-volume kitchen
- Culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and leadership presence
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and in control during busy service
- Detail-oriented with a focus on execution and consistency
- Team-first mentality with no ego
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership
