Your Role as Sous Chef

As the Sous Chef at The Block, you will work alongside the Chef to support daily kitchen operations and lead the BOH team. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading kitchen execution during assigned shifts
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Coaching, training, and developing BOH team members
• Supporting prep, inventory, food cost, and waste control
• Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Supporting ordering and product organization
• Partnering with FOH leadership to deliver a strong overall guest experience
• Helping create a positive, accountable, and team-focused kitchen culture

Would You Be a Great Fit?

We''re looking for someone with strong culinary skills and previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen. Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
