The Role
As Sous Chef, you will be the heartbeat of the kitchen, bridging the gap between creative vision and flawless execution. You will lead a talented team in a high-volume setting, ensuring every dish that leaves the pass is camera-ready and packed with the vibrant flavors of Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Volume Leadership: Confidently manage kitchen operations during peak services, maintaining composure and quality under pressure.
Culinary Excellence: Work intimately with local Napa produce and fresh, seasonal ingredients to execute a premier Italian-inspired menu.
Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and inspire line cooks and prep teams, fostering a culture of growth, discipline, and respect.
Operational Standards: Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
Cost Management: Assist with inventory, labor costs, and waste reduction without compromising the integrity of the guest experience.

Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale environment.
Strong communication skills and a "lead-by-example" management style.
A formal culinary degree is a plus, but a strong portfolio and solid references are essential.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays in the beautiful Napa Valley.
