We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our growing team!

Benvenuto a Giulietta! Giulietta is a sunny, casual all-day Italian restaurant with over 275 indoor seats and 100 seats outside. Inspired by relaxed summers on the Mediterranean, Giulietta has something for everyone, offering the businesspeople, tourists and residents of Midtown a transporting oasis in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Grand Central. The Giardino at Giulietta will be a seasonal outdoor Aperitivo bar and garden with seating for over 150 guests, serving a variety of aperitivo based cocktails, frozen drinks, pizza and small bites. A presto!

HIGH LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for managing the hourly kitchen personnel, expediting, and ensuring the quality preparation of all food items and all proper handling/storage of all food items in accordance with applicable standards while maintaining food/labor costs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Certification in NYC Food Protection License required

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $80,000.00)
