Sous Chef

Job Description:

Our Sous Chef @ Drake Terrace assist in preparing all food to the highest standards with thoughtfully designed menus often for multiple dining venues. Ensures excellent sanitation and cleanliness at all times.

 

This is a full time position, Thursday-Monday, 10:30am-7pm. 

 

Pay range: $27-30/hr

Hiring bonus: $1,000

 

 

What will I do every day?

• Assists with creation and preparation of high-quality meals utilizing fresh quality ingredients and
  scratch made recipes consistent with local custom and tastes
• Assists in maintaining inventory control of quantity and condition of all kitchen small wares,
  equipment and supplies
• Assist in organizing the kitchen and schedule
• Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
• Train and develop new kitchen associates

 

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• Bring a smile to work every day

• Be a progressive and creative thinker
• Be a high school graduate (preferred)
• Have 3 years of professional culinary experience
• 1 year supervisory experience (preferred)

 

Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?

• A current ServSafe certification required
