Contract Business Attorney – Small Business ClientsAs a Contract Lawyer serving our Access Members, your core responsibilities will encompass:Contract Review and Drafting: Carefully review and draft contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimal protection of our Access Members' interests.Legal Consultations: Provide expert legal guidance and consultations to our Access Members as needed.Client Support: Offer responsive and solution‑driven support to address our Access Members' legal needs promptly.Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support clients' cases and transactions effectively.Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina.ResponsibilitiesDraft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts for proceedings and contract negotiations.Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice.QualificationsLicensed attorney in good standing with a U.S. state bar (Texas preferred).Minimum 3 years of experience practicing business law, including contracts, entity structuring, and advising small businesses.Strong ability to explain legal concepts in plain English to business owners.Experience advising forward‑thinkers or small business clients.Comfortable working in a client‑facing advisory role, not just document drafting.Ability to identify legal risks and recommend proactive solutions.Strong judgment and business‑minded approach to legal strategy.Comfortable working in a remote, flexible, contract‑based environment.Compensation$45 - $75 hourly#J-18808-Ljbffr
