Vine St. Centennial, CO 801 Time Commitment: 4 hours per week, consisting of two 2-hour shiftsSchedule: Designated weekly time slotsStart Date: Early to mid-October 2026Duration: Ongoing About the Opportunity:Southglenn Library is looking for dependable and enthusiastic volunteers to help support daily branch operations and contribute to a welcoming, engaging experience for our patrons and community.Volunteers will work alongside Southglenn staff to help keep library materials organized and accessible while also lending a hand with some of the creative projects that make the branch special. Southglenn is known for its imaginative displays and Interactive Lab, a patron favorite that changes throughout the year and becomes especially lively as the branch prepares for events like Spooky Streets! What You'll DoAs a Southglenn Library Branch Volunteer, you may:Shelve holds and other library materialsHelp keep library materials organized and in their proper locationsAssist staff with preparing creative displaysHelp prepare materials and activities for the Interactive LabSupport other routine branch projects and tasks as neededWe're Looking for Someone WhoHas strong attention to detailIs comfortable completing repetitive tasksIs organized, dependable, and able to follow directionsIs willing to learn how to properly shelve library materialsIs curious, engaged, and comfortable asking questionsEnjoys contributing to a welcoming and creative library environment CommitmentVolunteers are asked to commit to 4 hours per week, divided into two 2-hour shifts. Volunteers will be scheduled for designated time slots rather than choosing open-ended hours.This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity with no predetermined end date.
