Our client, an industry leader in agricultural production, is seeking a dedicated Soybean Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Soybean Production Supervisor, you will be part of the Soy Bean department. This person would be on day shift.

Job Title: Soybean Production Supervisor

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000


Location: Chesapeake, VA 23323

What's the Job?

• Support daily operations that drive efficiency and profitability within the soybean crushing facility.
• Lead and manage production activities, ensuring processes run safely, reliably, and in alignment with quality and performance standards.
• Guide team members through training, development, and performance management to foster a high-performing workforce.
• Monitor production goals, optimize workflows, and partner across teams to maintain consistent output and operational excellence.
• Oversee safety, environmental compliance, and routine maintenance programs to ensure a safe and sustainable work environment.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Chemical Engineering, Management, or Business; or 5 years of management experience in lieu of degree.
• Someone with strong management experience in on of the following area(s)
  o   Flour milling 
  o   Grainery experience 
  o   Hazardous Chemical experience
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies and safety programs.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with experience handling hazardous chemicals preferred.
