The Spa Coordinator/Attendant plays a key role in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience within the spa. This role supports both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations by assisting guests, maintaining facility cleanliness, coordinating appointments, and ensuring all spa areas are organized and fully stocked. The position requires exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with spa leadership and other hotel departments to uphold service standards.
This role is eligible for retail commission and service charge where applicable.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Greet guests, provide spa orientation, and assist with amenities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception, treatment rooms, locker rooms, fitness center, and lounge areas.
Stock towels, linens, supplies, retail items, and guest amenities.
Maintain working knowledge of spa services, treatments, amenities, and retail products.
Schedule spa, salon, and fitness appointments; confirm bookings and support group reservations.
Escort guests to waiting areas or treatment rooms and support retail purchases.
Assist with daily administrative tasks: payroll cards, paperwork, and communication with management.
Monitor spa areas and coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office for upkeep and special requests.
Open and close the spa, reconcile daily sales, and maintain accurate guest and room account records.
Address guest concerns within scope and escalate issues when needed.
Support department meetings, review VIP lists, and prepare reports.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
6+ months of prior sales, guest relations, and/or spa experience
Basic knowledge of spas, luxury hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette
Communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to a high level of guest satisfaction
GREAT IF YOU HAVE
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn and use POS computer systems used at the hotel.
