Space Simulation Lab Technician, Amazon Leo SSL Redmond

Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. • Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Test product on dynamics tables and in environmental chambers using MES and other systems to document work while performing splicing, torque, and other operations to precise specifications.
• Work across multiple areas in shift to support the current priorities
• You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Willing to work 4 / 10s as assigned:

1st shift : 6:00 am - 4:30 pm PST (Wed- Sat) OR

• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Flexible working/commuting in between site locations Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WA
• Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
• Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted
