Job Description Summary

The Part-time Spanish Language Instructor will provide engaging, face-to-face introductory Spanish lessons (e.g., SPA 111, SPA 112) that focus on speaking, reading, writing, listening and cultural nuances.

The primary need is to offer 8 weeks of instruction for our students at our Main Campus for both A and B-terms in Winston-Salem, NC

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours in Spanish. Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Dept of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.

Essential Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.
• Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc.
• Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs.
• Construct, administer, and grade examinations.
• Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College.
