Job Description

TMD Staffing is looking for a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Delivery Helper for a restaurant equipment company. This is a hands-on position involving warehouse duties, cleaning restaurant equipment and appliances, forklift operation, and assisting with deliveries. This is a small shop and needs someone that wants to grow with the growth of the company. 

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare restaurant equipment and appliances
• Load and unload restaurant equipment
• Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory
• Prepare equipment for delivery
• Assist the driver with deliveries, loading and unloading
• Safely handle and move heavy equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform general warehouse and material handling duties

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License – REQUIRED
• MUST SPEAK SPANISH/BI-LINGUAL PREFERRED
• Forklift experience – REQUIRED
• Ability to lift and move heavy restaurant equipment
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass all pre-qualifiers (EV, BG, and DS)
