Winton Woods City School District

Located 15 miles north of metropolitan Cincinnati, the Winton Woods City School District serves approximately 4200 students from the three neighboring communities of Greenhills, Forest Park, and northern Springfield Township. The districts location in the north end of the I-275 loop provides easy access to the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan area, which features museums, theaters, colleges, and universities, opera, ballet, symphony, Pops orchestra, and two professional sports teams, as well as the third largest zoo in the country.

Winton Woods City Schools is committed to ensuring that all students achieve their highest potential. As a New Tech Network district focused on project-based learning, our students learn through appropriate, challenging, authentic projects as they explore, adapt, and engage the world around them. We are committed to this unique approach to learning, which gives our students increased opportunities to be positive contributors, creative innovators, and strong leaders in our community and in our world.

With the approval of our families and communities, Winton Woods City Schools is moving forward with new district facilities. This will include three campuses: • A Pre-K campus on the current site of Winton Woods Intermediate School • A K-6th-grade elementary campus on the current site of Winton Woods Middle School in Greenhills • A 7th-12th-grade secondary campus on the current Winton Woods High School site in Forest Park

Both the elementary and secondary campuses now have shared community spaces.

Winton Woods City Schools serves students and their families in the communities of Forest Park, Greenhills, and Springfield Township, and is an open enrollment district.

Winton Woods Intermediate School (grades 5-6) and Winton Woods Middle School (grades 7-8) are now New Tech Network schools with a focus on project-based learning.
