About the Role:
Join TOTUS LINGUA as a Part-Time Spanish Teacher for PreK-8 students in Chicago, IL. Inspire young minds to embrace the Spanish language through engaging and interactive lessons in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Facilitate engaging classroom activities that promote language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive learning experience.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
• Attend professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
• Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enrich the learning experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or related field preferred.
• Previous teaching experience, particularly with PreK-8 students, is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and fostering a love for languages in young learners.
• Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods.
• Current teaching certification or license in the state of Illinois is a plus.
