Spanish Teacher (Grades 7-12)

The Shullsburg School District is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered educator to join our team as a full-time Spanish Teacher for grades 7-12. We are looking for a passionate individual who can inspire students to develop language proficiency, cultural understanding, and a lifelong appreciation for world languages.
Position Responsibilities:
- Teach Spanish courses for students in grades 7-12.
- Develop engaging, standards-based lessons that promote communication, cultural awareness, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Utilize technology and innovative instructional practices to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and district initiatives.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) licensure in World Languages (Spanish) appropriate for grades 7-12 (or eligibility to obtain Wisconsin licensure).
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a PK-12 educational team.
