Spanish Teacher - St. Mary in Richland Center

St. Mary School is looking for a dedicated, dynamic Spanish teacher for our small, private school. Current position has flexibility - 2 days a week and willing to look at other qualifications to increase time.

• First and foremost, facilitate a nurturing Christian family atmosphere in the classroom and within the school.
• Work collaboratively as a team player, maintaining respect and confidentiality in all interactions with students, parents, teachers and administration.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes high expectations and provides opportunities for all students to experience exposure to and success in the arts.
• Assess students' growth through observation and a variety of assessment methods, including performance and skill, working to meet each student at his/her level.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, families and colleagues. Follow the proper channels of communications when communicating with the public, consult the principal before engaging in communications which may have the potential of affecting the reputation of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic School
• Creatively plan and coordinate choral performances for the school and community.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with the public including discretionary use of social media.
• Engage in all professional development opportunities.
