Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is Looking for a Spare Parts Clerk for the plants in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Spare Parts Clerk is responsible for maintaining and organizing the spare parts inventory to support the maintenance department's efficiency and equipment uptime. This role ensures accurate tracking of parts using the UpKeep system and collaborates with maintenance technicians and vendors to ensure timely availability of critical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and supplies using UpKeep or similar CMMS software.
  • Track part usage, reorder levels, and lead times to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Receive, label, and store incoming parts and materials according to organizational standards.
  • Issue parts to maintenance technicians and ensure proper documentation of usage.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to order and restock inventory in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient parts storage area.
  • Assist with tracking warranty information and service records for parts and equipment.
  • Support team in planning preventive maintenance tasks and identifying critical spares.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or maintenance support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., UpKeep).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily in a storeroom or maintenance shop environment.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting during the workday.
  • May require use of PPE in specific areas of the facility.
