We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and flexible Spares Planner who is experienced in working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We expect this person to be creative and innovative, and to constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to improve business operations and systems. The successful candidate will have great interpersonal and communication skills, and must be capable of collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze business processes for material flow within the Spares Department to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams, global supply managers, and vendors to develop cost-effective spare part procurement strategies
  • Investigate current inventory status, forecast requirements, and optimize stock levels to prevent shortages
  • Support stock-out scenarios to minimize or eliminate production line downtime
  • Place and track orders to meet MRO demands and timeline
  • Generate, analyze, and publish key performance metrics to inform decision-making
  • Optimize the spare parts management system, including initial setups and ongoing refinements
  • Bachelor s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively in team settings and independently
  • Demonstrated skill in supplier relationship management
  • Capable of handling stressful/challenging situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data for operational decisions
  • Must be well organized, skilled in documenting results and procedures
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including 5S, lean manufacturing, logistics, and continuous improvement methodologies
