This programs supports students social, academic, language and fine/gross motor developmentand prepares them with skills they need to be successful in kindergarten. Work with Pre-school staff to provide instructional support for meeting the Early Learning Standards.Work with Pre-school staff as a collaborative member of the instructional team.Attend workshops and instructional meetings as necessary or assigned.Perform other duties as assigned by the building director.Qualifications:Applicants must be highly qualified; experience working in a pre-school setting preferredApplicants must have 60 semester hrs early childhood college coursework.Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.District Information:District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school. Compensation Information:The position starting salary is $17.00 per hour including fully paid individual health benefits.
