Description
Responsibilities
- Process and review all customer orders.
- Coordinate all information to the appropriate departments.
- Set up and maintain all customer information within operating system.
- Identify and resolve problems relating daily production.
- Complete and update any changes to Standard work instructions.
- Support any customer special requests and provide accurate shipping information.
- Address issues regarding quality and production.
- Update production patterns IMM and paint.
- Manage and update machine capacity IMM and Paint (short/long term).
- Manage deadlines based on project expectations (SOP/EOP build out, transfer business etc.).
- Manage/update finish goods safety stock.
- New project implementation.
- Maintain awareness and understand the roles and responsibilities regarding the environmental policies, management system, and objectives and targets by attending the required training.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with the EMS procedures and practices and minimize the impact of their activities on the environment.
Qualifications
- Technical certifications such as an APICS certification preferred
- Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred
- Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong regard for product quality and safety standards Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous and diligent
- Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 30 Pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to workday or night shift.
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 100% of the time.
- Able to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each area Able to work in heavy traffic areas.
- Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
- Able to work in noisy areas were hearing protective equipment is required Able to work with chemicals.
- Able to work with machinery.
