Spec I Planner

Responsibilities

• Process and review all customer orders.
• Coordinate all information to the appropriate departments.
• Set up and maintain all customer information within operating system.
• Identify and resolve problems relating daily production.
• Complete and update any changes to Standard work instructions.
• Support any customer special requests and provide accurate shipping information.
• Address issues regarding quality and production.
• Update production patterns IMM and paint.
• Manage and update machine capacity IMM and Paint (short/long term).
• Manage deadlines based on project expectations (SOP/EOP build out, transfer business etc.).
• Manage/update finish goods safety stock.
• New project implementation.
• Maintain awareness and understand the roles and responsibilities regarding the environmental policies, management system, and objectives and targets by attending the required training.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with the EMS procedures and practices and minimize the impact of their activities on the environment.

Qualifications

• Technical certifications such as an APICS certification preferred
• Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred
• Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong regard for product quality and safety standards Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and diligent
• Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 30 Pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to workday or night shift.
• Must be able to work overtime as required

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 100% of the time.
• Able to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each area Able to work in heavy traffic areas.
• Able to work in hot and humid conditions.
• Able to work in noisy areas were hearing protective equipment is required Able to work with chemicals.
• Able to work with machinery.
