The St. Francis Public School District has a vacancy for a full-time licensed paraprofessional to assist and support special education students at Willow Glen Primary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidate(s) must be skilled at forming positive relationships and meeting the needs of a variety of students with disabilities.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, providing behavior support, assisting with academic instruction under the guidance of a licensed teacher, collecting data, and assistance with self-care and other activities of daily living.

Strong candidates will be energetic and possess a positive attitude. Candidate must be willing to work as part of a team to create a safe, welcoming learning environment for all students. Experience with elementary and middle school students are preferred, as well as, the ability to connect with students who may be non-verbal or struggle with emotional regulation. Knowledge of positive behavior supports and training in non-violent crisis intervention is desired. Completion of at least two (2) years of study at an accredited institution of higher education, hold an associate''s degree or successful completion of the two of the three requirements which include job-related testing, an interview and demonstrated performance through observation or documentation.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM. Health, dental and vision insurance benefits are available with this position.
