Description:
Special Education Paraprofessional 1:1
Individual assists students with learning activities in the classroom, record keeping, and monitoring students during non-instructional time.
Must be willing to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
Qualifications:
Certification by the Illinois State Board of Education as a state and NCLB approved paraprofessional.
(Minimum of 60 credit hours or passage of Para Pro Praxis Test)
Computer Skills Preferred.
Salary:
Placement on non-certified support staff schedule, depending on college credit and/or training experience. Base Pay is $16.98 per hour
IMRF pension, health, dental, vision are available
Hours:
7 Hours per day
