Safely transport students with disabilities to and from school, ensuring a safe, positive, and supportive environment throughout the route. Follow established bus routes and schedules, assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as needed, secure wheelchairs and other mobility equipment when required, and maintain effective communication with parents, school staff, and transportation personnel. Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections, comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, and maintain appropriate student confidentiality. Must possess the required commercial drivers license (CDL) and school bus endorsements, pass all required background checks and drug/alcohol testing, and demonstrate patience, professionalism, and a commitment to student safety.
