Position Summary
The Special Education Classroom Aide provides specialized educational support services for students . This role collaborates with educators, related service providers, and families to promote student success while complying with district, state, and federal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist special education teachers in daily classroom activities.
Support students with academic and behavioral needs.
Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance.
Assist with classroom management.
Help implement IEP accommodations.
Monitor student safety.
Prepare instructional materials.
Maintain documentation as assigned.
Collaborate with staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
High school diploma/GED; paraprofessional certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
School-based experience.
Patience and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience working with students with disabilities.
