Special Education Elementary Teacher(s) - Replacements
Multiple Positions Available: 8/27/2026 - 6/30/2027
Qualifications:
- NJ Elementary or PreK - 3 certificate required
- NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate required
- Knowledge of the NJSLS for Elementary ELA and Mathematics
- High-level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and guide differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Knowledge of best practices in English/Language Arts and Mathematics Interventions
- Knowledge of Wilson Reading System, Project Read and/or Orton Gillingham / Morphology
- Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students
- Experience in using small group instructional strategies
- Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
- Knowledge of Google for Education
- Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction

Terms of Employment:
- Terms pursuant to the MTEA Collective Bargaining agreement
- Replacement Position Salary Range: $60,073 - $87,073 (as per the negotiated contract and commensurate with level of education), Click here for summary of salary and benefits
