Organization Information The Muhlenberg County School System serves over 4300 students from Preschool through Grade 12. There are five elementary schools, one middle schools, one high school, an alternative school that serves middle and high school students, and a technology center. We also partner with the Muhlenberg County Career Center in providing education and career training for our students. We are a district committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Our district provides a clean, orderly and safe environment, efficient transportation of students, nutritious meals and financial assistance to all schools. Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the resources provided by the district. Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor. Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the physical limitations of the locations provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
