Special Education ID Teacher - LaGrange Elementary
The Tomah School District is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in: 1) WiMLSS, 2) Professional Learning Communities, 3) Universal Design for Learning or Differentiated Instruction, and 4) Elementary Teacher Literacy Training (Act 20) Documentation. The preferred candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, demonstrate a positive attitude, and possess a willingness to co-serve with a general education teacher. This position requires behavior management skills with training and/or experience in working with students with communication needs, autism spectrum disorder, and/or with intellectual disabilities.
This is a full-time position beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.
Qualifications: Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, appropriate licensure for the position as determined by state law and the District. Please upload a copy of your license.
